Heading to Cott as the under dog and the reception we got gave us a “nothing to lose attitude” which created an amplified hunger to rattle another top 6 team.

The Cottesloe support crew only fuelled the momentum and self belief for us in the last 12-14 minutes of the game. This resulting in a hell of a battle as the pride started marching forward, putting points on the board, with the score line inching closer as the minutes disappeared.
Our men found one more gear and blew Cottesloe off their own park. Silencing their rowdy crowd!

In defence we punished their upright runners and cut down their outside backs. Cottesloe struggled in the ruck area with our speed and aggressive entry into the ruck.

Our scrums were strong and set low. Our forward pack were effective in winning multiple penalties in the scrum zone.

Our attack was very entertaining with lots of flair, the ball being moved sideline to sideline resulting in our wingers cutting through the Cottesloe defence and crossing the line with their speed and good footwork. We created multiple options of play which suits our men.

It is good to see the passion, belief and resilience of the team all the way to the final whistle.

On to the next battle as we prepare for Palmyra on their home ground.
