Kingsley was one of the founder members of Southern Lions RUFC.

In 1987 Kingsley Bailey and Bob Brown created the Fremantle-Leeming RUFC and took the colours of the original Fremantle Rugby Union Club.

The club was first housed in Bob's garage in Findlay Rd Leeming.

Kingsley continues to be an active member of the club and assists with fund raising.
